PBR LEGAL was founded by Phillip B. Rose. His personal philosophy in handling cases is to work outside the courtroom to reach favorable settlements where possible, through negotiation. In some circumstances, it may require aggressive pursuit of the best legal strategies and tactics if agreement between the parties cannot be reached.
In 2006, Phillip B. Rose earned his undergraduate degree in Computational Mathematics with Minors in Computer Engineering and Legal Studies at the University of California at Santa Cruz. Thereafter Mr. Rose attended Lincoln Law School of San Jose where he earned many awards and accommodations including awards for academic excellence in Business Organizations, Criminal Law, Personal Property, Constitutional Law, and Moot Court-Best Written Brief. In addition Mr. Rose earned awards for his participation as a staff editor on the Lincoln Law Review and held the position of Assistant Editor in Chief. During his time at Lincoln, Mr. Rose authored two (2) Law Review Articles in the Field of Second Amendment Constitutional Law. Mr. Rose graduated from Lincoln Law School, near the top of his class, in 2010.
Mr. Rose has a winning record in the courtroom after successfully arguing scores of trials. Phillip B. Rose is registered to practice law in the California State Courts and in the United States District Court, Northern District of California Bankruptcy Court as well as the United States District Court, Central District of California.
Mr. Rose is actively involved in the Silicon Valley legal community beyond working as an attorney. He is on Faculty at Lincoln Law School of San Jose teaching landlord tenant law and assists the school in doing outreach to College students, and mentoring graduates in preparation for the California Bar Examination. In addition Mr. Rose participates as an attorney mentor for youth participating in the San Jose Peer Court program and is a Senior fellow of the Smith Renaissance Society.
